VIDEO & BROADCAST SPECIALIST // EAGLE BROOK CHURCH

JOB OBJECTIVES

• Responsible for editing, exporting and distributing Eagle Brook Church media content across a variety of digital platforms
• Key owner of export processes for creative content and weekend services
• A champion for continual improvement in the areas of distribution, asset management and technical processes on the Creative, Technology and Production teams
• Applies advanced knowledge in media exporting
• Coordinates by implementing or serving as liaison for one or more ministries or departments
• Reports to the Lead Video & Broadcast Specialist

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS 

• Carries out and owns editing, exporting and distribution for on-demand and live broadcast (website, podcasts, streaming, social media sites, etc.) 
• Serves as key liaison between Creative and Production, managing content distribution systems and communication processes 
• Works with the Eagle Brook Association team to make media resources available for EBA members 
• Manages and maintains video content and digital assets, maintaining the church archives   
• Repackages existing content for social media, marketing, weekend services and other events 
• Thinks strategically around export processes and looks for areas of improvement and increased efficiencies 
• Assists with video system projects and collaborating with video directors, including setting up new equipment, repairing existing equipment, testing new workflows, and/or providing support for special events and live broadcasts
• Other duties as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS

Minimum Qualifications

• Follower of Jesus and aligns with Eagle Brook Church’s 9 core beliefs
• 2+ years of experience working in live broadcast environments
• 2+ years of experience working with media and studio export tools
• Expert editing skills, including Adobe Suites, Final Cut and Davinci Resolve
• Expert exporting/Codec skills, including Adobe Suites, Final Cut and Davinci Resolve
• Expert skills in file delivery including local FTP file management and Sardius media hosting platform
• Expert skills in video recording management, including AJA Ki Pro, Softron Movie Recorder, Ross Tria video server and Grassvalley K2
• Proficient in website management, including Ekklesia and Subsplash

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working with various teams to help manage their project files
• Various broadcast execution skills, including camera operator, video routing, video switching and producing

• Salary Range: $20.00 - $23.00
• Full/Part Time: Full Time

• Workdays: Wednesday – Sunday, including Wednesday evenings for Student Ministries and occasional evenings for events (45+ weekends/year)
• Work Hours: Varies
• Remote Eligible: may be eligible to work remotely one day per week
