ASSOCIATE AUDIO ENGINEER // EAGLE BROOK CHURCH

 

JOB OBJECTIVES  

  • Responsible for mixing live music for midweek services, rehearsals, projects and events
  • Strives to meet Eagle Brook’s standard for sound experience
  • Performs work requiring originality and talent

 

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS 

  • Partners with Lead Audio Engineer to prepare for and execute midweek services, rehearsals, projects and events
  • Partners with Production team for campus technical needs 
  • Assists with engineering and installation of new equipment when needed 
  • Performs and manages maintenance schedule for all audio equipment 
  • Fills in for weekend audio engineers, as needed 
  • Other duties as assigned

 

QUALIFICATIONS 

Minimum Qualifications

  • Follower of Jesus and aligns with Eagle Brook Church’s 9 core beliefs
  • 1+ year(s) of live audio experience

 

Preferred Qualifications

  • Expertise with FOH mixing console (Digico and/or Yamaha Digital consoles)
  • Experience with audio mixing/mastering plug-ins
  • Musical background

 

JOB DETAILS

  • Location: Centerville, MN
  • Status: Non Exempt / Hourly
  • Salary Range: $20.00 – 23.00 an hour
  • Full/Part Time: Part Time
  • Regular/Temporary: Regular
  • Workdays: Wednesday - Sunday. Must be available Wednesday nights for student ministries, Thursday nights for weekend rehearsals, and occasional evenings for special events. Expected to work 26+ weekends/year

WORK ENVIROMENT / PHYSICAL DEMANDS

  • Regular repeating motions that may include wrists, hands and/or fingers
  • Regular moving about to accomplish tasks or moving from one worksite to another
  • Regular noisy environments
  • Occasional communicating with others to exchange information
  • Occasional ascending or descending ladders, stairs, scaffolding, ramps, poles and the like
  • Occasional moving of self in different positions to accomplish tasks in various environments, including tight and confined spaces
  • Occasional standing or sitting for prolonged periods
  • Occasional adjusting or moving objects up to 30 pounds in all directions
  • Occasional assessing the accuracy, neatness and thoroughness of the work assigned
  • Occasional small and/or enclosed spaces
