PASTOR OF GUEST EXPERIENCE // EAGLE BROOK CHURCH 

JOB OBJECTIVES

  • Champions the guest experience at assigned campus
  • Focuses on creating engaging experiences and building transformational relationships
  • Builds and leads a team of volunteers to carry out Eagle Brook’s vision for Guest Experience ministries
  • Provides an environment in which volunteers are recruited, onboarded, connected and growing spiritually to own Eagle Brook’s mission
  • Collaborates cross functionally with the central Ministry Development team and peers at other campuses
  • Reports to the Campus Pastor

 

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS 

  • Leads the Guest Experience volunteer team
  • Identifies, equips, inspires and invests in volunteers
  • Develops volunteer leaders, directors and team leads to equip and lead core volunteers
  • Meets with leaders one to one and in groups for spiritual and leadership development
  • Manages volunteer schedules
  • Oversees the overall guest experience from the streets to the seats, including, but not limited to, parking lot, lobby, auditorium and Prayer team
  • Executes ministry strategies and initiatives as designed by the Central Guest Experience team
  • Supports campus team, as needed
  • Performs pastoral duties, including visits, weddings, baptisms, funerals and pastor on duty
  • Supervises, leads and develops Guest Experience Associate, if assigned
  • Manages an assigned budget

 

OTHER JOB FUNCTIONS 

  • Oversees care ministries, as assigned (i.e., One on One Care, Quest 180, Divorce Care, etc.)
  • Manages beverage service requests for campus
  • Oversees merchandising of retail spaces
  • Responsible for lobby decor implementation
  • Other duties as assigned

 

QUALIFICATIONS 

Minimum Qualifications

  • Follower of Jesus and aligns with Eagle Brook Church’s nine core beliefs
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience (typically 8+ years)
  • 2+ years of experience building, leading and developing effective volunteer and leader teams
  • 2+ years of leadership experience
  • Call or pastoral ministry and desire for people to know Jesus
  • Must meet Biblical qualification for pastoral leadership
  • Strong evidence of a Christ-centered life
  • Self-starter
  • Skilled in problem solving and conflict resolution
  • Demonstrated ability to operate effectively in fast-paced team and cross-functional environments
  • Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills

 

Preferred Qualifications 

  • Bachelor's degree or seminary training
  • Supervisory experience

 

JOB DETAILS

  • Location: White Bear Lake, MN
  • Status: Exempt/Salary
  • Salary Range: $55,000 - $63,000
  • Full/Part Time: Full Time
  • Regular/Temporary: Regular
  • Workdays: Saturday – Wednesday (must be able to meet when volunteers are available or pastoral care is needed)
  • Work Hours: 8:00 am – 4:30 pm with evening hours for services, meetings and events
  • Remote Eligible: may be eligible to work remote one day per week

WORK ENVIROMENT / PHYSICAL DEMANDS 

  • Regular communicating with others to exchange information
  • Occasional assessing the accuracy, neatness and thoroughness of the work assigned
  • Occasional ascending or descending ladders, stairs, scaffolding, ramps, poles and the like
  • Occasional moving of self in different positions to accomplish tasks in various environments, including tight and confined spaces
  • Occasional moving about to accomplish tasks or moving from one worksite to another
  • Occasional sedentary work that primarily involves sitting/standing
  • Occasional light work that includes adjusting or moving objects up to 20 pounds in all directions
  • Occasional medium work that includes adjusting or moving objects up to 50 pounds in all directions
  • Occasional outdoor elements such as precipitation and wind
