GENEROSITY OPERATIONS SPECIALIST // EAGLE BROOK CHURCH

 

JOB OBJECTIVES

  • Partners with Campus, Finance and Central teams to create a seamless, trustworthy and people-centered Generosity experience that will scale as Eagle Brook Church grows
  • Develops, implements and supports the execution of gift processing strategies at both central and campus levels
  • Processes contributions received across all platforms and coordinates all acknowledgement practices
  • Ensures Generosity systems, processes and experiences are executed with excellence and care
  • Reports to the Generosity Stewardship Manager

 

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS 

  • Develops and refines scalable gift processing strategies for maximum efficiency
  • Continually evaluates campus practices to identify gaps, risks and opportunities for improvement
  • Designs and implements standardized workflows, tools and best practices across campuses
  • Works directly with campus staff to implement processes with clarity and confidence
  • Creates documentation, training resources and onboarding materials for staff and volunteers
  • Processes and reconciles contributions with accuracy, consistency and confidentiality
  • Ensures gifts are properly recorded and documented according to internal policies
  • Supports year-end giving processes, statements and audits, as needed
  • Partners with campus teams to support Generosity-related needs and workflows
  • Serves as a point of contact for operational questions related to giving processes
  • Collaborates with Finance, Technology and Central Ministry teams to ensure alignment and clarity

 

OTHER JOB FUNCTIONS 

  • Prepares acknowledgment letters that meet statutory requirements and communicate appreciation
  • Supports consistent communication standards for Generosity-related touchpoints
  • Assists in improving the giver experience from first gift through ongoing engagement
  • Supports initiatives that help Generosity operations grow alongside the church
  • Contributes ideas that enhance efficiency, clarity and trust for attenders and staff
  • Leads and supports various special projects, as needed
  • Responsible for cross-training other team members to have appropriate backup coverage available
  • Other duties as assigned

 

QUALIFICATIONS 

Minimum Qualifications

  • Follower of Jesus and aligns with Eagle Brook Church’s 9 core beliefs
  • Associate degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Strong operational thinking with exceptional attention to detail and accuracy
  • Ability to design processes and lead implementation through influence
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • High level of integrity and discretion when handling sensitive information
  • Adaptable in changing environments with ability to maintain positive and helpful attitude
  • Team player
  • Proficient in MS Office and church management systems

 

Preferred Qualifications

  • 4+ years of development or comparable work experience
  • Experience in gift processing, financial operations, donor development or church / nonprofit administration
  • Comfortable working cross-functionally and communicating with diverse teams
  • Excellent verbal, writing and interpersonal communication skills

 

JOB DETAILS

  • Location: Hugo, MN
  • Status: Exempt / Salary
  • Starting Salary Range: $60,000-$63,000
  • Full / Part Time: Full Time
  • Regular / Temporary: Regular
  • Workdays: Monday – Friday with occasional weekends
  • Work Hours: 8:00 am – 4:30 pm with occasional evening hours
  • Remote Eligible: may be eligible to work remotely 1 day per week

WORK ENVIROMENT / PHYSICAL DEMANDS

  • Regular assessing the accuracy, neatness and thoroughness of the work assigned
  • Regular communicating with others to exchange information
  • Occasional light work that includes adjusting or moving objects up to 20 pounds in all directions
  • Occasional moving about to accomplish tasks or moving from one worksite to another
  • Occasional remaining in a stationary position, often standing or sitting for prolonged periods
  • Occasional repeating motions that may include the wrists, hands and/or fingers
  • Occasional sedentary work that primarily involves sitting/standing
